Risk having your entrecard account deleted!!

The tools on the internet are always available to everyone, however not everyone knows how to use them, or for the matter for to use them optimally. However, there are always people thinking of new ways to exploit the system and also maximize the use of it. One of the internet tools is entrecard. It has been getting a lot of buzz and many people have started embracing it, to the extent that having an entrecard widget on your blog is now sort of a norm.

As I have said earlier, there always people trying to tweak the tools or go. However, now, for entrecard, these people would have reached a solid wall as they face deletion of their account if they continue to breach the rules. So what did these people do exactly? Firstly, you have to understand how entrcard works, then you will understands what all the fuss is about.

In fact, many people have been using blank pages, also known as power drop or quick drop pages, to just display their entrecard widget. Why do people do this? This is because these people value efficiency and speed to drop their cards more than anything else. Therefore, by doing this they are actually de-valuing the system. Entrecard was setup in the first place to help people earn credits, also to have more exposure of interesting but unknown blogs. At the same time, it also provides link to your own website.

Having power pages enable the widgets to load faster, as it’s the only thing on the page, so people can move on quicker. However, many people actually just bookmark the sites without even visiting the site itself. So entrecard feels that this will lowers the quality of the entire network, so to stop this, they are taking a drastic measure.

So on 1st July, anyone still having one of these power pages would have their account deleted without questions. So those guilty ones, you know what to do.. There is still a few more days left. For the rest of us, the innocent sheep, nothing will happen to us, just be obedient and play the game within the rules and you will be fine. Display your widget on your actual website, not a blank page.
