ONE- TWO- THREE... OaoooOOOoooOOOoohhhhh..... YEAH!!
Yes that's what we did for the camp. The camp was to be a motivational one. Something like a "yes, we can do it!!" kind of thing. It was to be a very important one for us, to aid us in jumping over the lsat obstacle to swim the lap, climb over the last mountain to cross the finish line to reach our goal, Gold. JJ Band has not gotten a gold since the beginning, and this year would be a good year to do so, not just because I am playing, but I guess the band is at its strongest as it can be. With relatively committed members, putting in relatively amount of hard work, we should acheive relatively good results. Its just the same as Catholic High Band, with decades of silver behind them, then the conductor, the committee, the teachers, the band decides to do something about it. It would be a revolutionary year, after a gold, everything will be set in place and we got it.
At the start of the camp, everyone was not like themselves. Some more light hearted, others seem skeptical and unsure of what the camp would have installed for them. Then there is the other other kind of people, the bo liao group. Fancy taking out "Seventh Night of July" and "Alvamar Overture" to play just an hour before the camp. Picture this, the entire room, with chairs scattered all over, original scores everywhere, 10 people sitting in an oblong circle, tapping their feets and nodding their heads off to the music at their own tempo, trying to make sense of where they are, attempting to play music, around them sits people with no faces, no names. They are completely indulged in their own world. no link.
Anyway, music is really powerful. when I started playing with one other friend, then came one other friend who wants to join in. Then another one.. and another.. so on... music really draws people together. ok no link again...
